Package for TREXIMET
TREXIMET is a migraine treatment prescribed by doctors to treat acute migraine attacks in adults. It contains 2 medicines: the ingredient in IMITREX (sumatriptan) and prescription-strength naproxen sodium (an NSAID).
You never know where or when a migraine attack may hit you. Since migraine experts recommend treating a migraine at the first sign of migraine pain, always have TREXIMET on hand. Each prescription for TREXIMET comes with 9 tablets in a convenient, portable, flip-top container. TREXIMET can be taken anytime during a migraine, but if you can't take TREXIMET right away, take it as soon as possible—you may still get relief, though results may vary. However, you should take your migraine treatment as instructed by your doctor.
Each migraine patient is different, so you should evaluate your symptoms and talk to your doctor about treatment options.
